Insulation overhead crane also be known as metallurgical overhead crane, is a crane dedicated to electrolysis plant for lifting molten metal. As the lifting metal liquid is charged, in order to avoid the current flow through the overhead crane metal to lead to damage the personnel and equipment, insulation overhead crane will set the insulation layer at the hook, trolley and other parts, typically, the insulation layers is divided into three layers: a layer between the hook and the pulley, a layer between the lifting mechanism and the trolley frame, and a layer between the trolley frame and the crane frame. Each layer of insulation resistance can not be less than 1MΩ.
Insulation overhead crane are suitable for electrolytic aluminum, magnesium and other workshops, usually for double girder overhead crane. Compared with the general overhead crane, the insulation performance is outstanding, working intensity is big, working efficiency of workshop is greatly improved, and ensure the work safety.
